HueyFen - ShaoNing -TG:rain stopped aft for so long!! :) -TG:had time to catch up with secsch/jc friend (will share with the girls next time! -PR:final year project! able to ovecome laziness and procrastination, and rly work hard for the project. part 1 due in 2 weeks time and its graded 25%! Do take a look below:If you say, "My bad habit only hurts myself," you are saying,"the people God created me to serve don't matter." - John PiperBeing brought up in our day and age, we are always concern about ourselves, in every situation we ask ourselves: "What can I gain from it? How do I benefit from it? Would it trouble me? Do I have time to do it?, etc ..." Notice, it's always about ME! Not about others. Doesn't what he says ring a bell to youths and ourselves in this culture? Haven't there been times we're corrected and we think "It's my personal problem. What right do you have to control over it?" Isn't it true that people in our day and age will always use personal preferences as an excuse for them to continue in their sins? Sometimes, even Christians do that, citing personalities, habits, genes, etc ... But, if we excuse ourselves from repentance, isn't it true that we are not able to serve and love the neighbours around us? Next time you think that whatever sin or bad habit is only a personal problem think about it, and ask yourself this: "How does not repenting from it helps me to serve and love others around me more?" If it doesn't, it's not a personal issue anymore, it's a communal issue! 0 comments |
