HueyFen - ShaoNing -TG:rain stopped aft for so long!! :) -TG:had time to catch up with secsch/jc friend (will share with the girls next time! -PR:final year project! able to ovecome laziness and procrastination, and rly work hard for the project. part 1 due in 2 weeks time and its graded 25%! Tuesday, December 9, 2008 ( Thank God for Retreat! @ 10:01 PM ) This day, we took a morning off to be still before our Lord to take time to reflect and note down about the various areas of our life prayerfully. Through this time of reflection, our hearts are settled down and poured out to the Lord as we repent, seek His forgiveness and be convicted of areas of change and growth in the year ahead. May this first time of learning to be still before the Lord teaches us to practice more of such moments with Our Lord in the years ahead. Before we finally settle down....    That day i was called "黄"帝 because of my yellow shirt, yellow umbrella and drinking 豆奶 that's made from 黄豆~~ . cool huh -_-'"Thanks to Ji Bing...    When we finally found a comfortable spot, we pray and found our own corners to settle down to think through some questions in the retreat worksheets. We gather after an hour of prayer and reflection to have a short time of sharing. Realise that we rarely heard from each other - the struggles and perspectives that we had grown in this year. As I hear the sharing, I was thankful that I gain much insights of their life and how God uses various moments to mould and help us grow... After that we went for the next most important thing.... LUNCH!! famished!      We left for home after that filled - spiritually and physically. Though I do not know many years down the road what will become of Ephesians.. Yet, may whatever that was said unto the Lord be remembered so that we may look back and see how our faithful, sovereign and gracious Lord lead and mould us as we seek Him more and more. We might forget what we had said to Him that day or even fail Him in time to come. Yet, let us remembers that our Lord is a Lord of gracious loving kindness who will constantly draws us back and remembers what we had said to Him. May our Lord have mercy on us, so that in time to come during moments that we are weak, remind us of any commitments that we might had made that day. May God continues to lead and guide each one of us in our walk with Him.  Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.
